Thanks to our good friends over at Beanpie Promotions we were reminded of something this morning. Cartoons used to be fun to watch. I’m talking long before the CGI movement that took some of the fun, creativity, “realness” out of what made a cartoon good to watch.
Beanpie took us on a trip down memory lane when he mentioned, Bulletproof, LongArm, HardTop, Mainframe, Mirage, and of course… Big Boss. C.O.P.S. had a new case every week that showed “how great being a police officer can be” yet also seemed to show that no matter what “crime” was done, you would be back out by the following Saturday. I have to admit though, it was very entertaining and “yes” I watched it every Saturday. I was about 9 or 10 when it started coming on. Amidst all the wild stuff I did as a youth, I still watched cartoons religiously. Do YOU remember C.O.P.S.?
Let’s see if this sends you to YouTube to start searching.
Did you watch this when you were “littler”? Leave a comment and let us know.
