Jamie Foxx is about to pull a Dave Chappelle, minus the meltdown. According to Nikke Finke’s Deadline blog, the Oscar winning actor is preparing a sketch comedy show-tentatively titled The Jamie Foxx Project-that will serve as a mid-season replacement on the Fox Network. Before appearing in his own The Jamie Foxx Show (1996-2001) on the WB Network, the comedian/, actor and R&B crooner first came to prominence on FOX’s In Living Color sketch comedy show. Affion Crockett, familiar to Hip-Hop heads for his own hilarious rap parodies/memes, will star on the show as well as serve as a producer. Twelve episodes of the show have been ordered. No word on whether Foxx’s infamous Wanda character will make any cameos.
